This is the bomb
This is the ULTIMATE bashing buggy and is probably the most durable RTR nitro vehicle on the market. It has a strong racing background and needs some upgrades for it to compete with the Mugens and Kyoshos of the world (mainly new engine/servos) However, if you want to drive it on the track, construction sites, anywhere you damn well please, and not worry about something breaking...then this is your vehicle
Mine has four gallons and we've had only minor breakage. It is the PERFECT "beginner" nitro vehicle for anyone. It's as durable of a vehicle as you will get. It will take a little upgrading to make it handle like a high-end race buggy...but the durability is there and that's most important.
This buggy is a great starter or even a racer if tuned right. It is very durable and has tons of power. I have beat this thing through every thing and jumped it at least 17 feet in the air and 40 feet far and nothing broke. But if you do buy this buggy make sure you have bought a better front servo because these one break really quick. Also the pull start pulls out quick. The engines are great and have tons of compression. All I can say is this is a great buggy hands down.
the hyper 7 is an awesome buggy! takes alot of punishment but just keeps going and going. Excellent car and recommended. Now for the negative; the steering servo is crap and ofna needs to put metal gear servo other then that best buggy for your money.
Got this car as my first "nitro rtr" Loved it!! very solid, very well built, very fast!
Converted it to electric about 6 months ago...even better. Highly recomended as nitro or electric!!
I chose this car over all others as my "getting back into RC" car and so far I have no regrets the car is solid and without a doubt a great bang for buck car just be sure to buy a better quality radio and servos the radio and servos that come with the hyper 7 were pretty slow reacting and flimsy and either buy a spare pull stater or just get a starter box as I did I went through two pull starters one during break-in and the other during tuning but other than that you cant go wrong with this ofna
Great Kit for starting out. The car actually handles well at the track with the right tires one thing to worry about is the engine mine took a crap after 1 gallon bearing air leaks pull start broke no compression scratched up piston and was hard to tune. This car is tough as nails though have not broken a thing and i beat this car up.
