ive had this motor for awhile now and i am very impressed runs cool and i could push it harder than any other 17.5 i have. i used a high torque which makes this motor even better. you can stop reading this now because you should just buy it, you will NOT regret it

Holy Crap! This is my new favorite 17.5. It's faster and smoother than my Epic Revtech 13.5. I'm running it in my B4.1 FT with an LRP SXX V.2 pushing the Power. This is gonna be the new motor to run, you'll see.

Motor Burned up on me on its first pack. Gearing wasn't anything crazy. 70spur, 26 pinion. 25º Timing. Same gearing and timing I'd been running the Tekin Gen2 17.5(rpm) on for months with no heat issues. Too bad, I'd heard good things, maybe I just got a bad one. During the 5 or so laps I did get in before it burned up on me, it seemed to move the car pretty well, but didn't blow my tekin out of the water like I was expecting it to. :( The other issue I have is why PHILLIPS head hard ware for the timing adjustment? Actually, to adjust timing, you have to loosen 3 hex screws, AND 3 phillips head screws.... That's just.. cheap/weird/stupid. Why not make them all hex? Overall, not impressed. At all.

Very nice power plant. I own 2 of these cool/smooth/fast running motors in my B4'1 and T4.1. with a Tekin RS temps in the mid 120's on the infrared. Suprising ammount of torque much better then my redline can't wait to drop one of the torque rotors in and see what the limits are. I'd venture to say it will be just as good as good if not better then d3.5's out now. Lead the pack-don't follow it!!!
