i have these on a rustler vxl and they have a Softer rubber compound and very flexible, compared to the sand-paws. they do not have as much grip as the sand-paws but that is good. you still maintain fairy good control at higher speeds without the truck wanting to do a wheelie.

They were a little soft for my liking. I taped the inside to try and stiffen them up a bit. I also had problems with them pulling out of the beadlocks because they were so soft. After about 8 hours run time there cut up quite bad. In all fairness I ran these hard on a high powered brushless vehicle climbing hills with rocks and sticks. If I had stuck to straight sand or snow they probably would have lasted a lot longer. I bought these and the sand paws and ended up sticking with the sand paws. [More…]

Superior grip, little soft for me.. would of like a harder compound. Stick to the sand and snow with these.

A fairly soft rubber compound, but did a great job in the sand, with very little wear after 6 battery packs. Will get a set of pro-line paddles in the future to compare, but very happy with these for use in the sand.
