I bought a set of these to run in my Durango DESC410R a while back. Running them with a 550 Tekin 4.5 motor, and one of the Orion ESC's that was made for the 4x4 SC class. I was very unimpressed. Though the batteries did have decent power, they puffed in the 2nd 8min A-main I ran them in. And continued to puff with each run from there after. Now, I can only run these packs in my B44.2, as the 1/10 4wd buggy doesnt draw on them near as hard. I am not sure if I got a bad pack, but the 5100mAh Turnigy Nan-Tech (65-130C) saddle pack from hobby king (which only cost $25) had MORE punch, and got WAY more runs out of them compared to these. Granted, the Turnigy Nano-Tech batteries did start to puff up eventually (after about 4 months of weekly racing), but thats a hell of a lot longer than 2 races! And for $25, I dont care if they puff after 4 months of use, I'll by another set! I can get about 4 of the turnigy saddle packs for this price of these! Even if these batteries were to last a long time, we all know that any battery, no matter the quality, will being to loose its puch and wont have the capacity after several hundred cycles. I'd rather stay with the cheaper packs, and replace them when needed, rather than spending WAY more money, for less power, and only get 2 races out of them before puffing...
