I bought this charger with a few worries in my mind due to some bad reviews founded on-line, and after charging several lipo, life and NiMH batteries, i havenít had any problem. The "capacity cut off" works just fine, very precise indeed, without overcharging the batteries. Maybe it was an issue with some specific units. Itís incredibly easy to use, great for bussy track days when the last thing you want is to get stuck in fancy charger configurations you hardly use, and you just want fully char[More…]

This charger is disappointing for the price. It is convenient but it charges my 2 cell lipo batteries beyond 8.40 and there are no storage or discharge features on this charger. Again it is convenient but overall I am disappointed with the Dynamite Prophet Quattro and I am now shopping for another charger.

Great charger so far. Charging 4 batteries at once. No overcharging. Easy functioning.

For some reason, Dan Clontz (single bad reviewer) has a real hate on for this product. Enough so that he's spammed 3 other places with bad reviews on this product. His objections were proven to be highly suspect on the RCGroups user forum, and his rantings and misbehavior got his account suspended from that forum. The software in the Prophet Quattro is defective. It doesnt have a "capacity cut off" and it will overcharge the crap out of batteries. Thats dangerous! So I exchanged it and got another one. It does the same thing just a little differently. This charger is an Epic Fail. Look for a recall on this model soon.
