This is not a tool for someone who is looking for accuracy especially the on-road guys. I use it on my 1/10 scale off-road stuff and I have to fight with it every time because it slips or something else moves. It is also hard to see the lines that tells you how many degrees you are at. I have been contemplating trying to add some white-out or something to those lines to help me see them better. If your on a budget get this guage. I wouldnt use it for on-road. I had this for 20 years then I got a Hudy for my 1/8th scale buggy. Was about 2 degrees off not bad really considering rims could have been warped,etc.. If your a hardcore racer get the hudy.

If you are running a high precision on road car this is not the best tool for perfect alignment, however if you are running off road and don't want to drag around a bunch of stuff this works very well for a check at the track, been using it for 15 years. put a touch of grease between the 2 rails so it slides easily and set the tension as you like.

I like it. Easy and quick to use. Good precision. You need that in your toolbox ! Read the instructions to know how to use it.
