Very Good car but the build sucks. It sucks because it falls apart. Mugen must have never heard of thread lock. By the time you are done checking the car you might as well have put it together your self. Good product terrible build.
Great car, just make sure to use locktite on all metal to metal screws and you'll be fine 1st time out. I'm glad Mugen came out with this pre-built version, just install radio gear and motor and you are good to go.
I have been through a couple of gallons of fuel on this buggy and the quality is the best I have seen. On all rollers you buy, you back out all screws that screw into metal parts and apply thread lock. If you don't, yes parts will fall off. This buggy has had some nasty crashes but no damage, loose or binding suspension/linkages. The servo setup was a breeze as was the receiver box. Use the body that comes with it as a practice body and get a good 1.0mm body for racing, maybe a skin instead of paint. My only gripe would be the flimsy body, but all manufactures do this. If you want a trouble free buggy, this is the one to get.
I have always taken into account MUGEN brand ... not only for being champion in as many years, but more so NEXT: there are more than 5 brands of high competition buggys striving to be the best .... but the best is who handle it? take for example a top 10 drivers in the world ... just change them in 0.5 silicone cushions or differential ... if you notice them. So if many of these 10 drivers used brands caps range is easy to realize BUGGY IS THE BEST IN THE WORLD .... simple, the two Japanese. I HAVE NOTHING MORE TO SAY.
Saludos a todos. Ya tengo este buggy en mis manos,es avanzada ingenieria japonesa...lo tengo con motor nitro MAXYS SIETE BT con rodamientos ceramicos...el buggy es muy duro, rigido de conducir. EXTREMADAMENTE OBEDIENTE...despues del 3er tanque ME QUEDE SIN PALABRAS...se adhiere a la pista gira en curvas maravillosamente y todo esto con el acelerador en uso...llevo servos SAVOX HV 2271,...lo que pienses hacer y hagas en la radio es lo que hara este MBX7. El hecho de que venga ensamblado y SET UP de fabrica no quiere decir que debemos dejar a un lado nuestros ajustes obvios. Revisar siempre todos los tornillos reconocer este ajuste de fabrica y luego le adaptas los UP GRADES que cosideres necesarios para tu pista. Pero aseguro que sera CAMPEON DEL MUNDO ESTA TEMPORADA 2014 en las manos de algun piloto elite.
