Tekin RX8/Redline T8 1/8th Scale 30mm Brushless Fan (2)
You may want to patch in a voltage regulator to get longer life. Most fans are built for a max of 5V-7.4v. If the fan is plugged into your speedo w/o regulation, then it's getting the same voltage that your main battery is producing.

Tekin RX8/Redline T8 1/8th Scale 30mm Brushless Fan (2)
Bought these fans to use for motor cooling on 1/10th scale. Not a single complaint I have both fans wired up running on 6v. At first I thought they were slow and not moving a lot of air, but after running them for a weekend the RPM picked up a bit and seems to flow nicely. So far they have about 3 hours on them.

Tekin RX8/Redline T8 1/8th Scale 30mm Brushless Fan (2)
I have trying just about every 30mm fan I can get my hands on and this one seems as good as any of the others, but I am currently going through fans in about 2-3 hours of track time.

FAN itself if not a garbage. Problem is using FANS in 1/8 offroad racing. RX8 works well without fan.
